Comorbidities I: Addressing Maternal Morbidity and Mortality Issues
This bundle contains Convention sessions and e-posters that include management of cardiovascular, hypertensive, glycemic, and hemorrhage issues during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period. Also discussed are collaborative strategies to address maternal morbidity and mortality in emergency departments, reduction of triage times for labor and delivery, and a Spanish tool for preeclampsia education.

Comorbidities II: Strategies to Address Maternal Morbidity Issues
This bundle of Convention sessions and e-posters consists of antepartum bed rest; perinatal mood and anxiety disorders screening tool; prevention and recognition of maternal sepsis; obstetric comorbidity index; reduction of implicit bias and stigma about substance use during pregnancy; using ERAs to reduce opioid use after a cesarean; and improvements achieved through a nurse-led obstetric triage program.

In this Convention recording, Dr. Perez describes the multiple causes and pathogenesis of neonatal encephalopathy, emphasizing hypoxic-ischemic injury. He also approaches the clinical features of this syndrome, how the diagnosis is made, and finally, goes over current and potential future treatments.
