When you first arrive at the Georgia World Congress Center make sure to check in with our registration desk, where you can pick up your convention bag and get answers to any questions you may have.
If I indicated I was registering for a session, will a spot be held for me?
It will not. We ask people to indicate their session preferences so we can make sure to have enough space for you in our most popular sessions. However, we cannot hold space for you so we still recommended getting there early.
What are Pre-Convention Workshops?
The Pre-Convention workshops are sessions held on Saturday and Sunday before the official opening of convention. There is an additional fee which includes a continental breakfast at morning workshops and beverages and snacks at afternoon workshops.
Where can I go for questions during convention?
You can go to the Host Committee booth staffed by local AWHONN members or the registration desk.
Is there food provided?
Snacks are provided in the exhibit hall and at different receptions which will be listed in your final program.
How can I find out what is going on around town?
The Host Committee booth is a great place to start as they know the area best. There is also a place in your Convention App for local area information under the Info booth tab.
Can anyone attend the President’s Party?
All registered convention attendees can attend the President’s Party. Please don’t forget your badge!
How do I get my CNE?
To complete your evaluations log-in to the session hub during or after the convention. Attendees must complete an evaluation for each session for which they are applying for CNE credit, as well as for the overall convention.
Upon completion of the required evaluations, attendees will be able to print their transcript and certificate. All evaluations must be completed by August 31, 2019 in order for CNE to be awarded.
