REAL ID Requirement for Air Travel Beginning May 7, 2025

Individuals traveling to the Convention in June should be aware that beginning May 7, 2025, all U.S. air travelers will be required to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card to board domestic flights.

REAL ID is a federally mandated upgrade to state-issued driver’s licenses and ID cards. Please check your current government-issued ID for the REAL ID mark—typically a star in the upper portion of the card. The appearance of the star may vary by state.

If you do not have a REAL ID, you may instead use a valid U.S. passport or another TSA-accepted form of identification for domestic air travel.

We encourage all attendees to verify their ID status in advance to ensure smooth travel to the Convention.
