The AWHONN Convention brings together nurses from across the country and around the world to learn, connect and discover ideas they can bring back to their patients, teams and organizations. Now is your opportunity to be part of that experience.
We’re seeking timely, relevant and evidence-based proposals featuring:

Help Shape the 2027 AWHONN Convention
Convention proposals should be timely, relevant and evidence-based and help achieve the following Convention goals:
- Identify strategies that foster professional growth and development and personal well-being throughout the career span.
- Empower nurses to learn and utilize advocacy strategies to influence health care policies at all levels.
- Apply the latest innovation, research and evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.
- Integrate respectful communication and interactions to improve health outcomes, team dynamics and health equity.
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: All poster and podium proposals must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 13, 2026.
Selection Notifications: Notifications of the Convention Program Committee selections will be emailed to submitters in December 2026.
Presenter Information
All accepted presenters are eligible for a $100 discount on full Convention registration.
