This year, we’re proud to join our efforts to support families by addressing their basic needs (diapers, period products, and food) in the city where our Convention is taking place. Learn more about what AWHONN is doing and how you can get involved!
Nurses Started This. Let’s Keep It Going Virtually. Join Us for the 11th Anniversary of the Healthy Mom&Baby Diaper Drive!
Born from the everyday compassion of nurses ensuring their patients leave the hospital with essential supplies, the Healthy Mom&Baby Diaper Drive has transformed into a powerful tradition of giving for over a decade. In 2026, all donations will benefit Central Florida Diaper Bank, a member of the National Diaper Bank Network. AWHONN is proud to support the Central Florida Diaper Bank in their mission to advocate and encourage healthy growth, nutrition, and development for children from newborn to age three. Help us make this our most meaningful drive yet by donating through this link.
Join Us to Assemble Menstrual and Hygiene Kits
Central Florida Diaper Bank is also working to address period poverty in the Orlando area and AWHONN is pitching in to help. Convention attendees are encouraged to join us in the Expo Hall on Monday any time between 11:00am – 3:00pm to assemble menstrual and hygiene kits. Supplies will be provided and all are welcome to stop by for a few minutes (or longer) to assemble a kit. Let’s reach our goal of assembling 1000 kits onsite for people in need.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida
As part of the Convention’s Social Impact Initiative, AWHONN is making a financial donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, the area hunger relief network working to create hope and nourish lives by multiplying the generosity of a caring community. Their program that provides healthy food boxes to pregnant individuals experiencing food insecurity is having an impact in longer gestational periods and lowering severe maternal morbidity.
